Set Up Expected Routines

Morning and evening habits as simple checklists — make bed, brush teeth, homework, and more.

Creating a daily routine in Settings
1

Parent creates routines

  1. Open Settings → expand Expected Routines.
  2. Tap + Create New Routine.
  3. Enter a name (e.g. Brush Teeth), assign to a child or All Kids, pick frequency (Daily, Weekdays, or Weekly), and an optional reward. Leave the reward at $0 for unpaid expectations.
  4. Tap Create Routine (or Save Changes when editing).

Kids check them off

  1. Child opens Activities → My Routines.
  2. Tap the checkbox when a routine is done for today.
  3. Optional: tap 7-Day View to see the week at a glance. Parents can use the 7-Day Performance Tracker (Premium) to monitor streaks.

If a routine has a reward amount, checking it off can add that amount to the ledger automatically — unlike one-off chores, which need parent approval when logged by kids.

Tip: Routines are different from Future Tasks (+ Kid tab on Add Activity). Use routines for repeating habits; use tasks for one-off jobs like washing the car.
